Our Social Commitments

The Objectives of the Interocean Foundation are: 
  • To establish, manage, maintain and operate educational, vocational, technical and sports institutions in urban, rural and backward areas and/or to provide financial assistance and other facilities to such institutions.

  • To establish, manage, maintain and operate charitable hospitals, dispensaries and health centers for the general public, especially for the poor, handicapped and retarded, and to arrange for medical treatment independently or in association with any person/persons/body/bodies and institution/or institutions.

  • To establish, manage, maintain and run, homes and institutions for upkeep, welfare and relief of the poor, handicapped, old, orphans, widows, etc. and for their education/training in handicraft, cottage and other industries.

  • To promote harmonious understanding and equal respect for all religions, cultures, ideologies and for that purpose to arrange cultural exchange programs, seminars, tours, etc. and establish, manage, maintain and run spiritual cooperative communities and institutes of inter-cultural understanding.

  • To promote research and the study of various systems of herbal medicine, nature care, occult sciences and ancient Indian culture and to publish literature, books, etc.

  • To sponsor and aid worthy charitable causes.

  • To award prizes of excellence in the field of:

    • Human Understanding

    • Social Service

    • Art-Humanities

    • Science

    • Merchant Navy.

  • To grant scholarships and  provide financial aid to poor/meritorious students.

  • To train suitable students for further education for a rewarding career in the Merchant Navy.

  • To do or aid work of any kind by an individual or society for relieving the physical and mental suffering of the public in general and for promotion of mental health, hygiene, relaxation, purification of the environment, peace & harmony, for the ultimate upliftment of humanity.

  • To compile, publish, distribute, or give, financial aid, in the publication of any literature for the promotion of the above objectives.

  • To open branches, wherever expedient for the promotion of above objectives.

  • To do all that is related, conductive, or incidental to the fulfillment of the above goals.
